DON'T MARRY ANY WOMAN OLDER THAN 25!

I realized I could never devote myself, as a faithful husband, to a women who wasted the prettiest years of her life before she met me.
  1. If you meet your wife when she’s older than around 23 or 24:
  2. You are eating someone else’s cold leftovers, then doing their dishes.
  3. You are showing up to a party after everyone has left and cleaning up after them.
  4. You are getting into a taxi and paying the fare of the person who got out before you.
  5. You are taking the nearly expired milk to the grocery store counter and offering to pay double for it.
  6. You are paying the MSRP sticker price for a used car.
  7. You are letting someone sext with your girl, then paying his phone bill for him.
  8. Your friend has sex with a prostitute, then after he enjoys the fruits you pay the bill and get throw in jail for solicitation.
  9. You are part of a street fight where a guy gets a few good punches in, and the opponent punches YOU for retaliation, not him.
  10. You are paying for someone’s credit card bill full of reckless spending and partying that you never got to enjoy.
  11. You are outbidding everyone on an eBay product by thousands of dollars.
  12. You are trying to unclog somebody else’s clogged toilet.
  13. You are watching somebody shake a hornets nest, then getting stung as he runs away unscathed.
  14. You see someone chug a beer, then drink the bitter teaspoon of ass beer at the bottom of the can.
  15. You are letting someone eat all the creme filling from a box of Oreos, then pay full price for the bland chocolate wafers.
A girl who refuses to get married young is offering a raw deal.  She is vastly overvaluing her product, and undervaluing your time and money.
Marriage only makes sense for a man when a girl’s prime years of beauty and fertility are upfront payment for a lifetime of loving masculine support.  Men rationally know this.
Is it any wonder, then, that as females are delaying marriage longer, they are finding less willing men?

THE UGLY VILLAGE GIRL!

When I was joining college, many people including me were very humble and innocent- just like one of my lecturers Mr. Waweru kept saying that when people joined college, students were and are usually so innocent such that when it comes to ladies, they had/have those very long dresses reaching to the ankles. This is somewhat true since everyone is very enthusiastic to try out their new life and to explore their education and get the best. It is with no doubt that many of us came from the village- me included.
Very few people come out of college changed in a positive way and this is a fact. Well, to this point, I wish to clarify something, life is personal yes but we have to talk about some things. Within a few weeks so many people start changing their behaviors and of course having made so many ‘friends’. There are two categories of people here; those from the village and urbanites and in one way or another; they want to show where the difference lies.
This urbanite will always want to show the village people that they are ‘so fly’ and they are more informed. In this case, I will use an example of two ladies. The lady from town is busy having some ‘good time’ with their friends in the name of ‘furahia maisha’ (Swahili language meaning ‘enjoy life’).

The Village Girl
The urbanite can never miss paints of ‘colorful’ makeup, fly clothes and generally some good ‘desirable’ life. The urbanite lady goes ahead and gets a sugar daddy since the college boyfriend cannot meet her demands. This is still the kind of lady who will appear only during Continuous Assessment Tests just to leave in five minutes since she has nothing to fill in.

The urbanite can never miss paints of ‘colorful’ makeup, fly clothes and generally some good ‘desirable’ life.

As this lady is busy doing all this, the ugly ‘village’ girl who wears old-fashioned clothes and does not know how to do her hair lady is busy making up her life by making good friends, doing what is expected of her and of course reading. This ‘village’ girl will always be insulted by the others for not ‘fitting’ in their cartels as you will even hear others saying ‘unachoma picha’ and such crap. With hope, perseverance and self-drive, they both complete school after some time.
Here now, the reality dawns! The urbanite leaves the school with almost three or more abortions, no certificates and it’s the real time for the VILLAGE girl to shine. The village girl has some education, some very good attributes and she is still a WOMAN. Five years later, the village girl is the most beautiful lady all over having achieved her life goals and having a lovely family. On the other hand, the urbanite is almost on her way to commit suicide since she wasted all her time in college and can witness the village girl shining. No one wants to be associated with her and truly, the village girl becomes safe and beautiful, she also becomes friendly and approachable.
Hope you get the difference!!! Get more Here

AFRICAN WOMEN, THIS IS FOR YOU!

Today is the seventh day of May 2014 and it’s the day we as Africans are celebrating our beautiful women. Today is African women’s day. It’s the most ultimate moment we take to appreciate our women. Africa as a continent has been associated by color black for a very long time and this generally featured in our skin color and therefore this is of no difference as it’s reflected in our beautiful women. You will see their attractive curvy bodies swinging in streets with their sexy hips but what is all this made of? Our women are so special when compared to other women across the world. I generally regard them as #TurfWomen and I will tell you why. African women are the strongest and they remain strong no matter the hard situations that come along their lives. In marriages we see men fleeing and abandoning their wives and these women are left alone to raise the children. In some cases, these women do not have a source of income and will make sure they hustle all the way to make sure their kids do not go hungry even for a single night. Again, we are the kind of a society where we believe men are ‘stronger’ then women and that women should not have a voice especially when it comes to leadership. This is a negative stereotype but it has been proven wrong when a female president was voted in by Central African Republic citizens. This clearly shows that as Africans we are doing away with the stereotype and embracing women’s leadership. In fact, I once read a quote which said; “in politics, if you want anything said, ask a man, if you want anything done, ask a woman”.
African Woman
Women have also been known as the key contributors in family matters when the men are ‘unavailable’. Even as we see our men abandoning the women and getting into alcohol and other condemnable acts, our women go ahead to make sure everything is alright in terms of bread winning and more. Women and African women in this matter have also faced physical torture in many ways for a long time but they still stand strong in condemning this vice. Think of an African woman who is pregnant and has been abandoned by her husband. She has another little kid that keeps crying all the time so it can’t be left at home. This expectant African woman will carry the small kid at the back and go to fetch water or firewood which will be placed on the head. Isn’t this a true spirit of our women? That no matter what, life must continue. Indeed it is. I take this opportunity to thank and appreciate all African women since for a long time; they have shown us and proved to us what they can do and what they are made of. They are simply our gold and we value them. For sure, they are stronger than we men and that’s a fact. As Saidi Lulu, a radio presenter in one of the local station said, “An African Woman Is More Than a Big Butt”

THIS GOES TO TUJUANE | NTV

I have been keeping quiet on this but today I’ve got to say it. #Tujuane was the first reality dating show to air on a Kenyan television. For a very long time we have seen dates turning out nasty especially for that lady who never does fries. This was not until the other television competitor introduced another reality dating show “Are You My Type”. In fact, Tujuane is far much better comparing to its rival because it gives the love seekers an outdoor environment which is very ideal for dating anyway. Here is why Tujuane has lost it for a very long time- almost since it started. When it comes to blind dating, this is a moment when someone meets a total stranger for the first time but there are very few people who have met their ideal people and this is a fact. At times you will see others saying; I would not like to meet him/her again. The main cause of this is lack a matching criteria to connect the love seekers. You for example meet a guy who is 23 years old and the lady is 30, surely, the first thing that makes the lady lose the interest is the age gap. Two, some people on Tujuane are very unserious- this is because you’ll hear some saying that they have come on the date for fun. Others come on the date with some ‘attitudes’ towards the others simply because they are not of their class. This is quite illustrated in episode 13 where I see the guy is almost 30years and wants to settle down soon and he meets a 22year old lady who wants to hear nothing close to settling down anytime soon. My suggestion is that there should be a mechanism to match the love seekers.
This can be enhanced by making their website www.tujuane.tv functional such that when one visits the website and indeed logs in they can fill their details e.g. Information about themselves and the details/expectations of whom they would like to meet. One could fill the age bracket they want, skin color, height, social class*(if really necessary) and such.
This will indeed help love seekers to meet their ‘ideal’ partner since it can direct a more open dating arena.
When Tujuane receives details of different people they should try to match the love seekers who are meeting. This in one way or the other will not be a waste of time since at least one meets someone they already like in a way. For example a guy who submits details of a lady of her expectations which is; short, dark lady who should be aged between 22-24 and is at least matched with a lady with some of the qualities, then we can be sure that something awesome can happen out of the date. Again, the mechanism used by Tujuane to get the ‘clients’ is through Facebook which without any doubt is mostly having a lot of jokers and generally unserious people. I would suggest they should introduce another ‘serious’ mechanism e.g. an email of recruiting who should go on the date or not. Let us not have the show just to attract a good number of audiences without really considering the main theme of the whole thing. Let it be a benefit to the Media Company and the love seekers too. I truly believe that if this is taken to point, we will not see these embarrassing moments again. *Class- you can remember what happened to the date with the ‘director of photography’ and the ‘diva’ who never does fries. The guy was simply not of her class. Correct me if I am wrong please and add your views on the comment box.

IRRITATING HABITS THAT MUST STOP!

1. Swallowing of phlegm- This especially happens to people without handkerchiefs. They will keep doing like a pig does- a very bad sound. ‘Sucking’ and swallowing that phlegm is a very bad habit especially to mature people. Unfortunately, you’ll find people doing this in public places. A handkerchief is only 20 shillings!!! 2. Walking slowly in streets- I believe everyone has ever experienced this at one time. A time that you are in a hurry and the people in front of you are walking so slowly such that you feel like you can bang their heads. I mean, we need to understand that the street/road is for public use and not personal. 3. Going through someone’s phone without their consent. This is very irritating and it comes along with receiving other people’s phone calls. This should never happen unless you are a couple and you have agreed so. 4. Peeping through other peoples phones when they are texting. We should all understand that text messages are discreet and personal. 5. Tagging people in unnecessary posts on social media. There are people who tag others in almost all the posts and photographs they upload on social sites. One should only tag people in a photo or post if it really concerns them in one way or the other. 6. Getting in a friend’s house-or any other place without knocking. I’m not trying to suggest anything here bit it’s really important to knock before you get in. this is simply because you do not know what they are doing inside there and therefore, a knock will give them ‘time’ to get up. 7. Lying- this is indeed one of the most irritating behaviors. You have at one time or another planned with a friend or someone else to do something at a particular time and when that time comes, they will decline and try saying they are caught up in a ‘business’ matter and thus failing your set mandate. This mostly happen during a phone conversation where they will tell you they just left the house. Kindly feel free to comment with other irritating habits that you think we should highlight.

RADIO JOURNALISM!

Call it passion, but this is how, always having the confidence in-front of the mic and loving what I do!!

YOU HAVE TO CRY ;-(

It’s just a few weeks ago (or should I say days?) that we heard of a case where a fetus was found wrapped in a polythene bag and dumped in Moi University- an abortion! Without questioning, this was an act by one of the university’s student- a female of course. Criticism and condemnation of this act was spread over on the social media- especially on twitter. To start with, you may realize that maybe whoever did it comes from a very humble background and maybe she has been influenced by some people. In all aspects, when one joins a college, they are usually very humble, cool, simple- name all the positive attributes but this is only valid for some time. I remember one of my lecturers saying the when people are joining college they come with long dresses reaching almost to the ankle and such but they suddenly happen after sometime. We must admit that teens especially in tertially institutions are having sex just like food and in this some find themselves with unexpected pregnancies. Since one is still a student and not ready to raise a kid, they opt to ‘flash’ but the question is who is responsible? Both the girlfriend and the boyfriend are responsible.
A wrong is a wrong no matter its degree. This was just one instance that leaked to the public, what about all the others incidences that we do not hear about? Trust me they are a thousand in one and you meet these same ‘beautiful’ ladies in the streets in high heels swinging their waists. They will also brag of how they got rid of that ‘disturbance’ not knowing the fate awaiting them. When one gets an unwanted pregnancy, the best thing is to admit that in happened and accept is as a reality instead of involving in blame game. Often, the fathers will always escape the game by saying the pregnancy wasn’t theirs- this indeed pushes the lady into doing dangerous acts of abortion. But what I need to tell them is; all that goes around comes around. You can go ahead and abort, but remember one day you might cry for lacking another child and even damaging your womb, you will cry forever seeing other ladies with beautiful kids, I mean you better get the kid and take it for adoption.

AN OPEN LETTER TO SAFARICOM!

Safaricom Limited is the leading provider of converged communication solutions in Kenya- This is the bio you will find in their Twitter account (@SafaricomLtd). Well, this is true; it’s the leading company in Kenya’s telecommunication industry. This started a decade ago when it introduced ‘per second billing’ over its competitor then KenCell (now Airtel) which was offering ‘per minute billing' call services. Over a long period of time, the company has rapidly grown and developed having acquired the largest percentage of subscribers in the country. This has been enhanced by offering quality mobile communication services to Kenyans. Another key contributor to its success is its innovations it has always come up with including The Safaricom Foundation and MPesa. For a long time, I’ve used services of all the mobile networks in Kenya and I finally decided to stick with Safaricom, why? It has quality services comparing to the others. This is a fact. As much as it might not be perfect, it is a quality network- give credit where it deserves. This is the apparent reason why it has many subscribers but what is the subscribers’ attitude towards Safaricom? I’m a fan of social media and for a long time I’ve seen customers complaining and terming Safaricom as ‘the bitter option’, ‘thieves’ or ‘wezi’ in Swahili. This is simply because it charges slightly costly for its services over the other competitors- to maintain their services. For a long time, many people have said that people stick with Safaricom because of MPesa but this is not true- they (including me) stick with it because it is the only mobile network which offers quality services- no any other network with matched services. This is what makes people stay with it despite knowing it is ‘the bitter option’.
Having discovered its strengths, Safaricom has noticed its dominance in Kenya and in this regard, it has gone ahead to ‘take advantage’ of the loyal customer in one way or the other. First was the scraping of anything to do with ‘unlimited’ including unlimited Internet, unlimited SMS and so on- so that the consumer can use the renewable bundles. Well, as much as there might be other reasons for this including ‘this is business’, then to my understanding, this is a way of taking advantage of the consumer. The most recent was the introduction of the new daily internet bundles with free SMSs. Previously, the bundles were 5MB-5/-, 10MB-8/-, 25MB/- and now 5MB-5/- with 5 free SMSs, 10MB-10/- with ten free SMSs, 20MB-20/- with twenty free SMSs. If you noticed, the 20bob bundle has been reduced by 5MB and 10MB bundle price hiked by 2bob and thus ‘forcing’ the customer to get the ‘free’ SMSs once they purchase the bundle as a compensation or ‘blackmail’. This has been criticized by many people and yes I agree, there is no one time all the people will agree with one thing or fail to see a negative. However, Safaricom should not always ‘make decisions’ that will affect and ‘hurt’ the customer. It should put some efforts to at least do a survey to note what the customer really likes so as to offer close to perfect matches of services/offers. I just had to highlight the above example to get known of what I’m talking about. Kindly, Safaricom, try to change in the way you deliver services and offers, just be ‘considerate’ to the customers pockets in a ‘friendly’ manner. In the meantime, the other service providers should try up and down to offer quality services so that there is ‘fair’ competition in the telecommunications industry.

RELIGION? NO, IT'S TERRORISM.

Of late we have heard and seen the state of security in our country. Almost each and every day there is an explosion-or even grenades seen somewhere. A Kenyan would assume that this is the work of the al-shabaabs simply because of the Kenya's military existence in Somalia but I would not agree or disagree. What is on the table is; they are terrorists, people who are not having the good will of the country and just want to distract the peace of the country. So many questions have been raised by many people that these terrorists are Muslims and the government wants to harass them. Unfortunately, I believe that it’s just a coincidence that the terrorists are from the Muslim community and this is not a religion war whatsoever. We have associated terrorism with Muslims yes but the government is trying all it can to curb it. The president indeed gave a two week amnesty declaration for the public to surrender any illegal arms or face dire consequences, let’s wait and see what will happen. I wouldn’t really say that many civilians have illegal arms but the question is; where are all these arms (including but not limited to grenades and explosives) coming from? Someone somewhere is behind it probably? I would say that the fight is ours and we should all be focused to fight terrorism in our country- and it all starts with us by reporting suspicious people and taking the necessary precautions to be safe because pointing fingers will barely help. Sometimes it's our ignorance that costs us that much. Security is very vital in a country as it ensures citizens have no fear doing their businesses and even conducting daily activities. It is also for a country to have good security for it to attract tourists and investors and make them feel safe as they are key contributors to our economical development through revenue generation. Be part of this fight, it simply starts with you.

THIS IS JOURNALISM.

When I was going through my Journalism training, one of my lecturers usually told us that Journalism is not all about being famous, career and probably good money, it’s simply a passion. Well, I now tend to support to go with it. If you told a villager that you are doing Journalism, they’d probably think of appearing on TV and such. Fortunately or unfortunately, it’s a different other things alongside the whole avenue. Say production work, scriptwriting and all that. This is a course that should be taken by curious, enthusiastic and enthusiastic people. I think I forgot talkative, but not per se. but especially radio Journalism really requires social people who will interact with others regardless of any barriers. Journalists should be credible with information, I mean; they should be trust-able by the audience. They should also be reliable, accurate and ‘sharp’. My sharpness here means they should be up to date with information. It would be very bad when someone asks a ‘reliable’ Journalist to explain something that is happening in the country, it would be so shameful for one to say they don’t know. It also comes with persistence because it really has a lot of challenges and probably when it comes to law (media law & ethics). You have probably seen some journalists going behind bars for some legal actions especially defamation. Again, Journalism really requires a person who is ready to live double lives; the real personal life and the media’s life, we all need to have our own social life that is not known to the public. It also requires a person who has a heart-I mean anti-fragile especially when it comes to TV. For example going to shoot a video at Kismayu where you can clearly see people killing each other. Sometime back I asked my lecturer what a photographer should do on arriving an accident scene; help the victims or take the photographs and the lecturer told me you should go ahead and take the photos. Generally, it’s a very tricky career and one need to be ready to live for it.

INTERNET | SOCIAL MEDIA | SELL YOURSELF!

We have all come in this digital era where Internet is like a daily meal, just like a basic need. Can you try to imagine a world without Internet? You probably can’t figure it out. I want to repeat something that has been said over and over again- Internet has come with its advantages and disadvantages. The people who use the Internet so much are the youths in colleges and universities, especially when dealing with social media and search engines- of course for doing research. Now, let’s talk about social media. Social media is in fact the quickest way to get interactive with people across the globe e.g., Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Tumblr, Flickr among others. You realize that it’s still in the same time and period (youthful & scholar period) that many of us become jobseekers. Connecting job seeking and ones usage of social media is quite more than relevant. Of course many of the places you’ll go searching for a job, they’ll get interested to know how you use social media and suppose you use it negatively. That sounds like dropping a glass of ice on the floor?
People go ahead and post nasty photos, posts and comments for example on Facebook. This can cost you a lot if your employer gets enthusiastic about it. Photos especially profile photos should try to portray the ‘real’ image of you in terms of who you are as well as your profession. On the other hand for the addicts of social media, this could be really dangerous beyond your thoughts. You should really monitor, mind and regulate the time you are on the Internet socializing. Make sure it does not reach the addiction stage that every twenty minutes you have to log in and ‘see’ what is happening. I have a friend who was fired by the boss for apparently ‘Facebooking’ during working hours. The other thing is minding your language when communicating to you seniors say in a work environment. You should as well keep the conversations official and straight to the point. You should never write something like this to your boss; “Niaje boss? Sa Ile promo itakuwaje?” meaning “Hi boss, kindly update me about the promotion.” Make sure you always use social media platforms in a useful manner that’s positive. It simply tells a lot about yourself, remember you are the one who should ‘sell’ yourself. Then sell yourself.

WHOSE IS THE MARRIAGE BILL?

Everyone (especially men) is happy all over the towns and streets simply because the Marriage Bill was approved by the parliament to go to the final stage where the President should put the sign to approve it or decline. As usual, women have so far complained that it’s indeed a very unfair way of living such a life of bringing other wives without their consent. If you are a fan of the parliamentary proceedings, you can try to remember how the MPs were very ‘energetic and enthusiastic’ saying that it’s an African culture a husband not to ask for a woman’s consent in whatever circumstances. I want to apply a simple logic. We all understand who the Members of Parliament are, right? It goes without saying that they are wealthy. In their state, they would be in a better position to have as many wives as they wish- after all, they can take care of them. Now, think of this village man who is so happy about the marriage bill that men are now not required to seek consent of the first wife in case they wish to bring another one. This particular man is even having problems to feed his one wife and two children. Can he even afford or dare to bring another wife? In my own view, this bill is only going to favor the rich- those who can afford to take care of many wives. We have known our leaders for favoring themselves and I would term this as their own favor too in the name of ‘men’ and ‘African culture. Remember, I’m an African too.

THINGS YOU SHOULD NEVER LACK IN YOUR HOUSE!

Here is a list of all the things you should never lack in your house whether you are a lady or a gentleman. 1. Mirror- Nature mistakes itself to convince us that only ladies should use mirrors to look at themselves before they leave the house. Unfortunately, this is not true. Everyone needs a mirror to look how presentable they look just before they get out of the house. This improves your confidence. 2. Pen- This people will mistake it saying only learners should have pens. That’s a lie. You need to have a pen and probably walk with it. It’s funny when a person tells you to write something and all you can say is that you don’t have a pen. 3. Razor blade- this is indeed very useful. At time or another, you need to cut out some things like strings of a trouser that is not well made. 4. Nail cutter- a nail cutter will always help you keep your nails short and neat. NEVER use a razor blade because it will do more harm than good. It may end up cutting you. 5. Ear buds- this is yet another useful ‘tool’ in your house. Ear buds will help you clean your ears in a hygiene manner. Quit matchsticks and stuff. 6. Torch- We all know why a torch is important, right? But some will argue that there is electricity but that moment when there is a blackout and your phone is drained? You are in the darkness and you need to check out something? Have a torch!
7. An extra face towel- We are used to having the other towels but it’s always important to have an extra one of a small size just in case you need to use it during an emergency. 8. Emergency kit- We all know that this is not so common in our homes but it’s indeed very fundamental. It should contain some antiseptic, clean pieces of cloth…and such. 9. Comb- We all know why this is important, to simply keep your hair neat. 10. Safety pin- This too is very important as it will assist you when maybe using your pajamas and such. 11. Needle- This is as important as the safety pin as it’s a multipurpose tool. It will help you mend your clothes, and remove things from your body like thorns and jiggers. 12. Something extra- May it be an extra plate (for people living alone), extra toothbrush and such. Always have that ‘extra’ thing.\ I just want to hope that you have at least five of them, have them because they are very useful. In case you would like to add others, just comment below.

IS THIS FAIR?

If you come around Kenyatta University main campus gate at around 4.00 pm waiting for a vehicle to travel towards Thika, and if it’s your first time, you may be so surprised. Maybe you are asking yourself why you should be surprised. Well, here is the answer. You will find school children of K.U primary school travelling to their different destinations along Thika road but should I really call it travelling? Most of them are age 8 to 13. As a tradition, they always pay half the price comparing to adults. They do it yes but they go through a hustle to get a seat. The touts chase them away. The kids will be in groups of like five and they start begging; “aki tubebee mmoje” meaning “just carry one of us”. Ironically, you’ll find touts even telling them; ”kwendeni huko” meaning “go away”. It really pisses people off especially parents. Passengers will feel sympathy and say; “aki toto come nikushike” meaning “let the child in I will hold them”. Sometimes I wonder whether these touts really have kids but the main lesson that these kids learn is the best. They will learn that in life we have different people and also they will know how to do things for their own. They have learnt waking up as early as 4.00 in the morning regardless of how junior they are. At the end of the day they will become big people in the society who have an awesome attitude towards life.

INT'L WOMEN'S DAY | WE APPRECIATE YOU!

Today is International women’s day 8th March 2014. This is the day that we come out and appreciate women all over the world. Here are the reasons why we need to celebrate them. 1. Women are power. They are the ones who bring change in the society. 2. Women are the ones who hold families together even during times of crisis. 3. Women are the ones who bring us up even when our dads leave. 4. Women are the ones who take care of almost everything in the house. 5. Women are the ones who cook for us in our families. 6. Women are always hardworking to make sure we never sleep hungry. 7. Women are the ones who bring us up in the ways of the Lord to make sure we never go astray.
8. Women are the ones who come to visit us in schools. 9. Women stand strong even after being beaten by our fathers. 10. Women go through monthly problems, they stand strong and we never notice as they fully attend to their duties. 11. Women make sure everybody in the family has eaten. 12. Women are the ones who suffer a lot in the society. 13. Women are loving in nature. 14. Women are caring in nature. 15. Women are just wonderful. Take this chance and spread the message. If you appreciate women starting with your mother, and rest of the women in the society. We love you women!

IMAGES: TWO BODA BODA RIDERS BURNED TO ASHES!

Remainders of the bodies

For a long time we have valued boda boda riders for being an alternative means of transport when things go wrong. For example when matatus go on strike or when it’s late in the night. But yesterday it was a totally different story.
Two boda boda riders were burned to ashes as the third escaped on 5th March 2014 at 9.00pm at the Kenyatta University Main Campus gate. The three would pretend to be boda boda riders and when you ride with them they would turn to be hijackers, demand money and even beat you.
Time had come for people and other boda boda riders to get rid of them and unfortunately or fortunately, they had to burn them.  For sure, they were tarnishing the name of others and I am pretty sure others will learn from it.

AIRTEL IS LOSING IT!

Lately, Safaricom and Airtel bought yuMobile. Safaricom bought all the infrastructures and employees whereas Airtel bought the 2.7 million yu customers and actually taking the prefix 075…. In that deal, Safaricom is the one which is going to gain reason being, for buying the infrastructure means it wants to improve its technical platforms.

On the other hand, Airtel seems to be so excited to get the yu customers but trust me, all those customers may eventually shift to Safaricom. I have been with Airtel for two years and their  problem is only one; the quality of their services. The services are just poor. For example, take Zawadi loyalty program, it is from time to time under upgrade of which they upgrade nothing.

If Airtel is not careful, they are going to lose it in this tech industry just like yu. Questions still run in peoples minds why yu had many free offers yet people never liked it; the answer is clear, quality of service delivey, period! I never mind paying costly to  be with Safaricom because the services are up to the stardard of the cost.

MORE THAN ENOUGH!

Many are the times we find ourselves complaining almost over everything. It’s true that human beings never get satisfied with what they have and always aspire for more. Remember something that you had always wished to have at one time; you really craved for it until sometimes you could even dream with it. When you finally got it the first day, I bet you were so enthusiastic about it but let me ask you, what happened after sometime???
I’m sure after sometime you lost interest in it and asked yourself, “Now, is this what I was craving for? So what next?” All that comes as a sign of in-satisfaction. Whenever we get something, we aspire for something better of which is not a crime but the best thing is to appreciate what we already have.
Whenever you complain, always remember that there is someone in a worse situation than you and they aren’t complaining. Again, bear in mind that at most times we have more than what we need and surprisingly, we can perfectly work with what we have. Let us always work with what we have and appreciate it!!!

PANTS AND BRAS OFF!

Barely a week after the Mavuno poster saga, I truly can’t believe that something else of the sort is out and known. Just to give a little flashback, lately a church in the Diaspora has gone ahead and allowed nude worship; believers to worship while naked. Why would such happen?
Back, If you are a resident of Dandora phase two, you know this church by the name Lord’s Propeller Redemption Church headed by Reverend Njohi. Mr Njohi, who is the head of the church, has ordered women to come to church without panties and bras. He went ahead to even tell mothers to come with their daughters in the same state. He also said that those who will go against will face dire consequences with the reason that in order to receive Christ, they must be free spiritually and physically. (Misinterpretation of Ephesians 6:10-20)
Let's Repent
This is with no kind of argument unacceptable. What have our Pastors become of? Is this the way to go? I mean, this is how the devil works! He will never come with six horns, ten eyes and five heads.  He uses such ways to get through believers and make them fall through such ‘opportunities’.  Again, why would someone go ahead and do all what the pastors says? They are not God. When it comes to some things, we require no God’s intervention but to use COMMON SENSE!
There are those who believe in every information they are told and we should try to help them out and condemn such kind of behaviors. Let’s continue exposing such. In the meantime, pastors doing such to our fellow brethrens; SHAME ON YOU!!!

YOU CAN'T COMPROMISE THE GOSPEL!

In this life we have different people as well as different situations that we go through. Talk of economical, social issues and the list is endless. It’s always good to give credit where it deserves and to accept the reality. Let’s call a spade a spade and big spoon a big spoon.
So many things have ever been compromised but I’ve never heard people behaving in a suggestively way to compromise God and the gospel in general.  The #Mavuno church poster which is suggestively describing nudity is a very bad way of trying to attract the youth to the church.
According to the pastor, Mr Mureithi Wanjau, the poster was meant to promote the Teeniez Konnect Team saying that it is the best way to communicate to them regarding the challenges they are facing. This however raises many questions as to why such kind of a channel should be used to communicate. This to me is mocking God and comprising the gospel. I truly believe there are other better ways of doing such things. Let us respect God and respect the true gospel.
